The Global Operations and IT coordinator, monitors, analyses and responds to threats and vulnerabilities to our clients. They are the primary point of contact within the Service Operations Center (SOC) for global field operations, providing mission support and contributing to the safety of missions by preparing pre-mission reports, mission planning, and providing overwatch of tracked assets while maintaining communication with the ground team.
They are the primary internal contact to coordinate with the IT team to support ATH staff with any IT-related issues.
The incumbent should be prepared to work evening/night on a 24/7 shift rotation.
Work with fellow Operations Center Officers (in Arabic and English) as a team to monitor the status of our customers and their location
Report incidents, accidents or threats to the well-being of our customers and evaluate the potential impact these incidents may have on business continuity or client safety
Develop and maintain close working relations with officers from other locations and offices around the world.
Continually learn better watch standing skills through review and presentation of “best practice” changes to operations and information SOPs, checklists, and other administrative processes and procedures; Oversee preparation and distribution of critical reports and alerts.
Keep track of assets and equipment distributed to OTG team
Having the ability to solve problems instead of giving a problem and not supporting it with a solution
Assure all reports, presentations, and briefings for the next crew change are timely, accurate, and fully coordinated;
Assist with emergency message dissemination as necessary;
Actively participate in exercises and drills, as part of the CMC team;
Ensure familiarity and compliance with company policies and rules.
Ensure that customer travel details and required services are reserved and updated in the ICEVAULT system and mission board.
Update clients on mission movements in an accurate and timely fashion.
Overwatch mission movements and ensure that the driver follows the proposed routes predetermined in the OPORD and communicates changes according to the SOPs.
IT-related Tasks and Other Duties:
Ensure the Operations Room is in order always, all equipment is fully functional, and all documentation is stored in its assigned locations
Coordinate with the IT team to support Local, Regional and Global ATH staff with any IT issues.
Coordinate with the IT team to ensure the configuration of new PCs are prepared for new hires
Deactivation of accounts of employees leaving the company
Support the IT department with any routine tasks such as maintaining email distribution lists, new email account setup, account creation of internal software
Creation of technical support documentation for the staff when introducing new software
